Even if dirty gardening tools are well sharpened they won't cut adequately. EZ-Cut ® is a non-corrosive, non-flammable and non-toxic fluid for manual or power pruning tools. Apply Patent Pending EZ-Cut® with its pump sprayer to tool blades or teeth and it will remove sap and dirt without abrasion, which can damage tool cutting edges. EZ-Cut® will retard rust and leave a film of lubricating oil on tools. EZ-Cut® contains a disinfectant which effectively kills bacteria and fungus plant pests that can spread to healthy plants on tools. Remove garden tool from garden after work:* We need to remove the garden tools from our garden quickly after finishing the job from these tools. * The sharp edges of garden tools might also hurt children if unnoticed by children while playing in the garden. * So, you need to remove these garden tools from garden as soon as possible and store them at a dry place. Storing garden tools at wet place can invite rust, which will quickly reduce the tool life.
Protect garden tool from rust:* You need to protect your garden tools from rust and therefore for protecting rust on metal parts, a coat of primer and paint is necessary.* A metal part, which is required for soil treatment or the particular portion of the garden tool, which will be used for underground work, should not be painted. * The specific metal part, which is used for underground work and comes in contact with the soil, should be covered with petroleum jelly.* We can also protect this specific part of the garden tool by putting this in especially designed oil known as rust preventive oil. We can get a can of rust preventive oil from local market.
Maintain wooden part of the garden tool:* Almost all the garden tools will have wooden handle and for maintaining the wooden part of the equipment; we need to properly apply varnish on it at regular intervals.
