The blades of your power or manual lawnmower can be sharpened the same way, once they are removed, by rubbing the stone along the surface of the blades. Depending upon the condition of the garden implement, from fine to heavy grit sharpeners, may be required. Some of the stones purchased might contain the two surfaces within the same product.
