Organic Vegetable Gardening ? A Super Simple and Highly Convenient Way of Growing Fresh Organic Vegetables
Organic Vegetable Gardening
You know what I hate most about organic vegetable gardening? Running one is bloody hard work! There are lots of things to do, plenty of maintenance tasks involved…
As a result, not many folks are willing to do it on a serious level. In fact, I wanted to have my own organic vegetable garden for years, but I was put off by the enormous amount of work I had to do to maintain it.
However, last year, I discovered a highly efficacious gardening method that requires extremely limited amount of maintenance work.
The method is called ecological organic vegetable gardening and it is in my experience, the easiest and most convenient way of running organic vegetable plots.
Note: There's a video introduction of this method and you can view it by clicking this link.
Here are some of the benefits of building an ecological organic vegetable garden.
When you set up an ecological garden, you're basically creating a living, breathing ecosystem right at your home. Doing so allows us to leverage the power of nature. We get nature to maintain our vegetable garden for us!
For example, the natural characteristic of an ecological vegetable garden prevents weeds from growing and spreading across your garden plot. Yes, the process occurs naturally so you don't have to do the weeding yourself.
Also, the ecological method allows your garden to endure longer periods without water.
It makes your plants last much longer, prevent pests naturally and doesn't require any other tedious gardening tasks such as resting beds periodically, rotating crops, applying store-bought fertilizers and so forth.
Key tips for successful eco organic vegetable gardening.
• Install permanent pathways that are strategically positioned so you'll no longer need to walk on your garden beds. This important because we want to avoid unnecessary compaction.
• Significantly increase the soil's ability to hold water. You can achieve this by not digging the soil. When you dig, you disrupt the soil's structure therefore repressing the soil's capacity to provide essential nutrients to plants.
Digging also affects the soil's water retention capacity.
• Make sure your garden is planted with a variety of edible plants. Plant densely to prevent weeds from occupying niche spaces in your garden, and prevent surface crusting which causes runoff and nutrient decline.
By the way, if you want to implement the eco organic vegetable gardening methods a soon as possible, there's a set of video tutorials to help you get started immediately.
The step by detailed step videos comes with several printable plans for easy reference. Download details can be acquired via this link. Just go to http://www.growingorganicfood.info

Organic Vegetable Gardening question by mamessner: In The Sims 3, do fruits and vegetables go bad?
One of my Sims just finished the "Perfect Garden" lifetime achievement. She has a large garden with 9 types of "perfect" fruits and vegetables.
Problem is, she's getting old, and her son isn't terribly interested in gardening. I'd like to keep these perfect plants in the family, though, since it took a lifetime and several generations of plants to get them to this quality.
I was thinking I'd just keep the perfect fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator. That way her son or his children can pick up the garden where she left off someday. But how long will they last in there? Do fruits and vegetables "go bad" like leftovers do? Would they last an entire lifetime, or even a few generations? I haven't been able to find a verification that fruits and vegetables will last indefinitely in the refrigerator.
Bonus questions:
How long will they last in personal inventory?
If you start with perfect seeds, will you grow a perfect plant, regardless of gardening level?
I bought the grocery store and the bistro, and renamed them "Sunset Valley Co-Op and Organic Market" and "Chez Michel Organic Bistro." That way I own the entire supply chain.
Is there any way I can use these perfect crops to increase profits at those businesses?
